New Richmond Youth Hockey Association presents

The GOAL Program

Interested in learning to SKATE and PLAYING HOCKEY for FREE?

Then the NRYHA’s Get Out And Learn (GOAL) program is the answer. The GOAL Program gives kids in our community an opportunity to learn how to skate and experience hockey for FREE. The program provides equipment for each player and provides 4 practice times with experienced instructors.

The GOAL Program is a great way to introduce your child to a game loved by millions, and without having to invest tons of money.

Don’t know how to skate? No problem.

One of the goals of the program is to help kids learn to skate. The program provides instructors on the ice to help kids learn the basics of skating. The on-ice sessions are designed to help your child learn to skate with fundamental drills. The program also incorporates plenty of games that promote fast learning techniques while having fun.

Don’t have any hockey equipment? No problem.

The GOAL Program also promotes the experience of hockey by providing shin pads, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, gloves, helmet, equipment bag, and a stick for FREE. Participants just need to provide skates.

Want to experience hockey RISK FREE? No problem.

The program allows kids and parents to experience hockey for FREE in a fun atmosphere. All kids dress in full equipment during the on-ice sessions to allow them to feel like real hockey players.

If after 4 weeks you and your child fall in love with the game and want to experience more, there is an opportunity to register for our in-house hockey program.
